Let us have tea

Let us have tea

My tea-time thoughts

poured on china, with milk

catching quiet scents,

for soggy thought, uplifted.

Thinking beyond the dinnertime onions…

… or trying to: keyboard tapdancing

two-fingered, one-fingered,

or skating, skating this pen,

Nazca lines on paper.

birthing marvels unapplauded.

My mouth shut, thinking of warm tea,

of warm tea, and an empty room

My biscuit crumbles.
